Press Cutting, Scrapbook, Amateur Dramatics
Three press cuttings across two book pages. One is a photograph from a production of 'When Crummles Played' from December 1927 in which Sybil played the part of Mrs Crummles. The other two are from a production of 'Pilgrim's Progress' from September 1928. It was when appearing in this production that Fred and Sybil met. Fred was playing the part of Christian and Sybil the parts of Superstition and Prudence. It is as the former that she appears in these photographs, which appeared in the Leeds Mercury on 15th September 1928.
