An early picture of The White Garden with herbaceous borders, coloured on one side and white and silver on the other. Sundial and millstones on path. Later the coloured border was replaced by a second white and silver one.

Herbaceous Borders (colour/white) with white seat at end of path and a hedge behind, washing line post to side.
The White Garden was inspired by Kiftsgate in Gloucestershire. Eventually the white planting was extended to both sides of the path.
